It's been over 5 years

A lot has changed, I've moved to two more states and no longer in Florida.
Survived a few mishaps and am happily living in New Mexico with the my other half and our children. Still attending college, it's going to be a long sad family joke that I am the "Van wilder" (Reference: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283111/) of the household but at this point, I'm ok with that.

I'm happy to say, I'm doing much better, not perfect but better than were I was. I figured it's time to say hello after all this time.

Gulfarium Day with my side kick

(Google Images) On one of our adventure days, me and my sidekick "gophie" visited a place called GULFARIUM . It's a pretty cool marine life museum with dolphin shows, shark chats, stingray chats, and sea lion show. I wouldn't recommend it during the winter since it's mostly outdoors but it was still a ton of fun for us. They also give military discount, * SCORE * Nurse Sharks Bumper the Sea Turtle On this particular day since it was cold not to many people were there. So we got a lot of information from the people giving the information for the shows and even got invited to watch the trainers feed the sea turtles, Bumper & Bailey. New Base, New Place

(found off Google Maps) Recently my family and I have PCS'd to a new base in Florida. Eglin AFB. We've been here for about 2 weeks and I've been exploring the area slowly while unpacking all our boxes into our new digs. I wish I could say that it gets easier to move around but it really isn't, if anything it becomes more of a headache when the travel policies change constantly and by the time I get to the next base its like my family has accumulated so much stuff I can't even remember owning it to begin with! So far my house is now walkable, but I'm surrounded by boxes galore. It does give me a chance to go through a bunch of items that I've been meaning to get rid of. The list of things I wish I had when I first started living on my own

Hi Blog world! So as the holiday season is dying down and I'm still unpacking the last of the boxes and getting this house organized, I was inspired to blog about the list of items I wish I had known to buy the first time I had moved out of my parents home the first time at 18 years old. When I was 18, I was a young mom to an infant, newly married to the father (now my ex-husband) and was working and trying to figure my way into college. I had lived at my parents house up until then and being in a Filipino household my mom did everything her way, which meant I didn't learn squat on how to care for my own until I had thrown myself into adulthood.
